🧠 How Thoughts Shape Health
When I first heard the worst possible “professional opinion” — that my health would rapidly decline — it felt like my future was already written. Yet, in the midst of that fear, I discovered something powerful: my thoughts had a greater influence over my health than I had ever realized.
Through intentional changes, I not only slowed the progression of my symptoms — I began to reverse them. Doctors expected me to get worse quickly, but God showed me that faith, discipline, and a willingness to trust his design could rewrite the story I was told.
One major blessing through all of this has been God teaching me to let go of perfectionism and simply share. Holding important things inside can make us sick, but sharing from a place of honesty and love brings healing and connection. Scripture says, “The Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7).
When we choose to remain timid, we are living out of step with the Spirit within us. If something important is stirring deep in your soul, take action — but take it in a way that unites people, not divides. This truth has been a lifeline for me, and I believe it’s a key to living fully to prevent and overcome serious health challenges.
📹 I’m sharing a video below that illustrates the science behind the connection between our thoughts and our physical health. It’s one of my favorite videos, and I’m so grateful I stumbled upon it over a decade ago. I believe God prepared me with this knowledge so I could meet my recent challenge immediately and without delay.
